Here’s a roundup of news and notes this month from the wider church:

For Good Friday, the UCC Council of Conference Ministers will be streaming a Seven Last Words worship service on April 3rd at 12 pm. If you can’t make it to our Good Friday service with FCC Norwood, here’s a good virtual option that features conference ministers from across the country, including our own Rev. Darell Goodwin. You can stream this service on the Southern New England Conference Facebook page.
Our UCC General Minister and President, Rev. Dr. Karen Georgia Thompson, has a blog, On My Mind Today, to offer her thoughts to the wider church community. Her most recent post is about Activists and Advocates in an Age of Authoritarianism. You can read her blog on the UCC website.
Our Executive Conference Minister, Rev. Darell Goodwin, has offered a Lenten prayer for a world in conflict. You can read the prayer on the SNEC webpage.
Our Southern New England Conference executive team has begun offering occasional reflection conversations on how they are experiencing and living out their faith in our world today. They call this reflection time the Pink Coat Chronicles as a reminder to choose courage, visibility and love even in the most difficult of times. You can watch or listen to Rev. Darrell Goodwin, Rev.
