United Church of Christ

First Parish of Westwood is rooted in the denominational tradition of the United Church of Christ whose heritage includes the Pilgrims who came to this country fulfilling the admonition that there is “yet more light and truth to break forth from God’s Word.” This tradition continues to nurture an active, engaging, and lively faith.

 

Continuing this dynamic that God is still speaking, the UCC Board of Directors in October 2016 affirmed the statements below.
