First Parish is solar powered, not completely but significantly.

 

Our new facility was built with energy efficiency in mind, with leading electric power technology for heating and cooling.  Soon after completion of the building, solar panels were installed on portions of the new roof to capture solar power.

 

The Meeting House was retrofitted at the same time with an up-to-date natural gas heating system.
