Coffee Station Set-Up

THERE IS NO NEED TO ADD WATER TO THE MACHINE

TO TURN ON MACHINE: (approximately ½ hour before you want to brew coffee)

· Plug machine into outlet to left of coffee station

· Turn the on-off switch to “on”

(The on-off switch is located on the back side of the machine, toward the top. Slide your hand behind the machine, from the top. You will feel the switch sticking out. Flip the switch up.)

· Briefly press and release the black Start button, located on the top front of the machine.

· The green light at the right will light when the water is hot enough to start brewing coffee. (Approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on how cold the water in the machine is)

If the light on the front of the machine is green when you get to the Parish Hall skip the steps above - the machine has already been prepped, and you’re ready to go!

TO BREW COFFEE

· Insert a filter into the funnel

· Measure 2/3 cup coffee into the filter and shake slightly to distribute evenly.

· Slide the funnel into the machine, along the rails.

· Put an empty container under the funnel.

· Turn on the “on/lower” switch.

· Briefly press and release the Start switch. Coffee should start coming out shortly.

· Repeat above for each pot.

· To keep the pots warm, turn on the side and back warmers by pushing the buttons on the front of the machine.

CLEAN UP

· Wash out coffee pots

· Flip on-off switch down to turn the water heater off

· Unplug the machine
